Head of Maintenance

In Kalutara, Continental produces a wide range of solid tires and is exporting them into more than 50 markets all over the world. Solid tires are used for forklifts and other industry applications.
We are on the lookout for an experienced individual to join our Maintenance Department as Head of Maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Adhere all the Maintenance function with Global EHS Standard.
- Adhere all the maintenance function with local legal regulation.
- Align with Continental Central "Manufacturing Technology Engineering" Standards.
- Measure, Monitor, Control & Achieve Maintenance KPIs.
- Measure, Monitor, Control & Achieve Plant Energy KPIs.
- Efficiently Drive maintenance & energy related Excellent Projects & Programs.
- Monitor, Mentor & develop with required skill sets of Subordinates & maintenance associates.
- Stakeholder Management - Internal & External.
- Improve the efficiency the department & plant in terms of MTBF, MTTR & OEE.
- Monitor & control the Maintenance Budget Vs expenditure related internal department-wise & machine-wise.
- Implement Predictive maintenance & Autonomous Maintenance.
- Review & value add the tender documents, initiate supplier technical negotiations & procurement with Purchasing.
Qualification and experiences
- Degree in Mechanical / EEI (Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation) / Mechatronics / Automation / Engineering.
Master Degree in Engineering or Management.
12 15 years experience in maintenance, engineering or manufacturing.
Preferred experience in Tire/Rubber industry.
