Finance Manager
Eco Power Group is a leading private developer and operator of mini hydropower plants in Sri Lanka and Overseas. The Group is in the process of diversifying to other renewable energy sources and expanding its operation to new geographical locations.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, proactive, suitably qualified, and experienced candidate who is able to independently handle our Finance / Accounting Function.
The candidate we are seeking should also:
- Be a professionally qualified Accountant (ICASL / CIMA(UK) / ACCA) with a minimum of 3-5 years post qualified experience including in auditing and a high level of analytical skills.
- Be well versed in Sri Lankan and International Accounting Standards and in the preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements and Management Reports.
Be able to handle the budgeting, taxation, and treasury management of the Group.
Be willing to travel to the various plants in Sri Lanka and Overseas to ensure the implementation and adherence to financial regulations.
- Have a good working knowledge in Microsoft Office packages, Word, Excel and Power Point and to have hands-on experience in computerized accounting applications, information processing.
- A person with a high level of negotiating skills and should be able to liaise with Banks, Financial Institutions, Dept of Inland Revenue and with Auditors.
- Possess good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
