Position: HR Executive - Payroll Management

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Employment Type: Full-Time

Your Role:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records using our HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Manage statutory payroll compliance (EPF/ETF, gratuity, leave, Payee Tax etc.) and handle employee queries effectively.
  • Foster a positive work environment and address payroll-related issues promptly. Collaborate with department heads to manage and record employee attendance and leave.
  • Ensure the efficient management of multiple payroll systems, including timely and accurate employee payments.
  • Analyze payroll data and financial reports to forecast expenses and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Coordinate with third-party entities as needed to resolve payroll issues or enhance payroll services.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to meet organizational goals.
  • Professional qualification in HR management, with a preference for candidates who have focused on payroll management.
  • Minimum 04 years of experience in payroll management, with exposure to international or overseas payroll operations preferred.
  • High ethical standards and proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and public relations skills.
  • Proficient in the use of payroll software; familiarity with HRIS is an advantage.
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll processing, including taxation, benefits, and compliance with local and international payroll regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Qualities:

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in managing international payroll systems.
  • Ability to perform effectively under minimal supervision.
