APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER

The Job

  • Level 1 and Level 2 incident handling.
  • Provide Root cause analysis and escalate to relevant stakeholders
  • Engage with clients for any clarifications and make strong relationships
  • Work with L3 support for incident troubleshooting
  • On time Release/Patch deployment
  • Manage system upgrades

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent with minimum 1 year experience in a Software Support Role with knowledge in SQL, Crystal Reports and JavaScript
  • Experience in Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Excellent communication skills with a support mindset is a must
  • Experience in an ITIL based Application Support environment is preferred
  • Automation skills in using PowerShell, python and JavaScript will be an added advantage
