APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER
The Job
- Level 1 and Level 2 incident handling.
- Provide Root cause analysis and escalate to relevant stakeholders
- Engage with clients for any clarifications and make strong relationships
- Work with L3 support for incident troubleshooting
- On time Release/Patch deployment
- Manage system upgrades
The Person
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent with minimum 1 year experience in a Software Support Role with knowledge in SQL, Crystal Reports and JavaScript
- Experience in Windows/Linux operating systems
- Excellent communication skills with a support mindset is a must
- Experience in an ITIL based Application Support environment is preferred
- Automation skills in using PowerShell, python and JavaScript will be an added advantage
