ICE TECHNICIAN
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - JAFFNA
JOB PROFILE
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on the oven, cold room, AC, Chiller, and other critical restaurant equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration problems promptly.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and inventory of spare parts.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from restaurant management and staff.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency measures to reduce operational costs.
- Provide training and guidance to restaurant staff on equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop area.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Should possess NVQ or equivalent qualification relevant to general maintenance of utility machines.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience; experience in working in QSR industry will be a definite advantage.
- Willingness to travel and ability to work for extended hours.
- Sound knowledge of structure or grounds to be maintained, knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems to be maintained.
