THE ROLE

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the corporate sector. You will develop and execute strategic plans to establish and expand partnerships, generate leads, and ultimately increase revenue for the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform business development strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential corporate clients. Initiate contact through prospecting techniques.
  • Utilize prospecting techniques such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking to initiate contact with potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to tailor solutions that meet the unique needs of corporate clients.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, report on progress, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and foster business relationships.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance sales
  • Proven track record of closing corporate deals and meeting targets
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
