EXECUTIVE - COSTING

As part of our ongoing business expansion, we are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as an Executive Costing. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing production costs, implementing cost accounting systems, and providing valuable insights for financial decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
- Independently prepare monthly management reports.
- Analyze production costs and recommend changes for optimization.
- Analyze monthly manufacturing variances.
- Develop cost standards for materials and labor.
- Design and implement a cost accounting system.
- Work with manufacturing operations teams on product costing.
- Provide quarterly analysis on the cost of sales.
- Evaluate the yearly standard products.
- Update and monitor standard costs on a monthly basis.
- Handle manual costing processes.
- Participate in cost-down initiatives.
- Lead quarterly stocktakes for factories.
- Make recommendations about cost-efficient and financially feasible options.
- Assist in the budgetary process.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior and/or company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent professional qualifications in Accounting/Costing
A minimum of 2 years of related working experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and numerical abilities.
Stay updated on changes in government regulations and industry developments.
Growth mindset, quick learner, and adaptable.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with proactive and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills, effectively communicating with all levels of employees.
Ability to work well with people, anticipate impacts of workload or issues on team deadlines, and maintain a positive work attitude, including a willingness to work longer hours during peak periods.
Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel with lookups and pivot tables), and knowledgeable of ERP systems are added advantages.
