MARKETING ASSISTANT
(SOLAR DIVISION | LOCATION: COLOMBO 10)
Job Description:
Singhagiri Solar is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our marketing team as a Marketing Assistant. The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing efforts of the company by capturing compelling visuals of our solar projects and assisting in various marketing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct video shootings and photo shootings of Singhagiri Solar projects, capturing high-quality visuals that showcase the company's expertise and commitment to renewable energy.
- Visit project sites to gather footage and images, ensuring accurate representation of completed installations and ongoing work.
- Coordinate with the Head of Department and Head of Marketing to align video and photo content with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media content creation, email marketing, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas for engaging content and innovative marketing initiatives.
- Maintain organized files and databases of marketing materials, including photos, videos, and other assets.
- Support administrative tasks related to marketing projects, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing reports.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in marketing and solar energy to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
G.C.E O/L and G.C.E A/L qualifications are required. School leavers are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications or certifications in Marketing are considered advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in photography and videography techniques.
Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) is a plus. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
