QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured Test Cases and intain them in Xray
- Deep level testing on new functionalities to cover all the edge cases
- Stick to deadlines and deliver the required level of quality
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with other dependent teams
- Identify and report any potential quality issues per defined process
- Closely work with Regression Automation team and maintain the automation coverage for the team's scope
- Participate in technical discussions and diagnose issues on an Application backend level and DB level.
REQUIREMENTS
- BIT/ BScin Computer Science or an equivalent degree with a minimum 3 years of experience in the respective field
- Strong knowledge in Software QA Methodologies, Testing Concepts, Tools and etc
- Knowledge in requirement elaboration, estimations, identifying test scenarios and writing detailed test cases
- Critical and creative thinking skills and ability to give attention to details
- Experience and knowledge in Scrum/ Agile
- Experience in tools such as Jira, HP ALM, Xray etc
- A fast learner and a Team player who could easily adapt in a dynamic environment who requires a minimal supervision
- Experience in Performance and Security Testing will be an added advantage
- Any ISTQB qualification would be an added advantage
