- MANAGER – INTERNAL AUDIT
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) is a world-class professional body that takes pride in being the change-makers in Sri Lanka's dynamic Accounting arena. CA Sri Lanka is seeking a multifaceted professional with a high level of responsibility, dedication, competence, drive, and adaptability to take over the above position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for achieving the annual audit plan of the institute.
Designing and implementing audit methodologies, processes, and audit committee.
Presenting audit findings to the Audit Committee and the Council.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness and risks of operational processes, activities, policies and systems.
- Reporting to management on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls.
- Supervision of the internal Audit Team's work.
- Perform special investigations and reviews as directed by the Council, Audit Committee, and the management Ensure audit recommendations are effectively implemented.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate member of CA Sri Lanka.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognised university.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in auditing of which 3 years should be at a senior level.
- Excellent knowledge on auditing techniques and risk management.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with ERP Systems and Audit tools.
- Problem identification and solving capabilities.
