SENIOR EXECUTIVE - MERCHANDISING VS & CO DEVELOPMENT
We are on the lookout for a dynamic and energetic individual to join Trischel Fabric (Pvt) Ltd as a Senior Executive - Development Merchandising for VS & Co accounts. As a Executive - Development Merchandising, you will play a pivotal role in driving our fabric development initiatives, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of innovation and meet the evolving needs of our clients. The primary objective will be to spearhead the development process from conception to execution, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver cutting-edge fabric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive fabric development strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance, as well as external suppliers and vendors. Effectively communicate project requirements and timelines to ensure seamless execution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in fabric manufacturing. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- Lead the creation of fabric prototypes, working closely with design and production teams to translate conceptual ideas into tangible products. Oversee sampling processes, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the development lifecycle to uphold product integrity and meet quality standards. Conduct thorough inspections and evaluations of fabric samples, identifying and addressing any deviations or defects.
- Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams to optimize cost efficiencies without compromising on quality or performance. Negotiate pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors to achieve favorable terms.
Qualification and Experience:
- Ideal candidate would possess a Degree in Business Management, Textile Engineering, Merchandising, or related field with 3 - 4 years of experience.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Team Work will be considered.
- To be competent in SAP system.
