HEAD OF SALES - FMCG SECTOR

Head of Sales is a senior - level role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of an organization's sales activities. This position provides the significant strategic direction to the company in terms of the revenue growth, building strong customer relationships and maintaining a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Following will be brief job responsibilities and requirements for this role

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Strategic Planning : Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Sales Management : Overseeing the sales process, including setting monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, developing sales plans and monitoring sales performance.
  • Marketing Management: Developing and implementing marketing campaign and initiative to promote the company's products.
  • Budgeting and Financial Analysis: Developing and managing the sales and marketing budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Team Management: Leading and Managing the sales teams, including hiring and training staff, setting performance goals, and providing guidance and support.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Monitoring industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities of growth and stay ahead of the competition.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree/ SLIM/ CIM or equivalent qualifications.
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of 15 years of overall experience in the field of sales and 5 years in a similar capacity.
  • A deep understanding of the FMCG industry will be a definite advantage.
  • Should be a result-oriented person with a proven track record of achieving goals, and can demonstrate the ability to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from data are highly valued.
  • Ability to manage a team with effective communication skills.
