ASSISTANT MANAGER - ICFE
- Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.
- The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Assistant Manager - ICF Engineer. The position exists to continuously convince management on technical areas in process improvement of the Ice Cream Factory and other future locations within statutory and organizational guidelines with the objective of effective process management & maintenance.
- The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Keep up the plant & machineries at optimum working order to achieve delivery plans.
- Lead implementation of ISO 50,001 Energy Management System implementation in the plant.
- Educate management on new technological advancements and enhance the production efficiency by implementation of initiatives.
- Liaising with consultants for technical improvements when necessary.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Maintaining cordial relationships with vendors and contractors to upkeep the factory.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technological breakthroughs pertaining to the industry.
- Lead the asset care management program in order to maintain plant efficiency and healthy OEE.
- Degree in engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Production) with minimum 5 years experience preferably in FMCG manufacturing environment.
Good working knowledge in Auto Cad, Visio and other relevant tools is essential.
Knowledge on implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
Process mapping, specifications of engineering processes, Health and Safety legislation, continuous improvement methodologies.
Understanding and requirement fulfillment Quality Management systems, Food safety management system, Occupational Health and Safety management system, Environmental Safety Management System, Energy Management System, Good Manufacturing Process and PRP, CCP, OPRP. Interpersonal skills, motivational skills, Building High Performance Teams; Analytical; Innovative; Communication; Adaptability; Negotiation; Decision Taking and problem Solving; Attention to detail.
