Post of Quality Assurance Assistant
Metshu Exports (Pvt) Ltd is a leading exporter of coconut products in Sri Lanka. We seeking a qualified and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising workers in our coconut milk factory, ensuring the adherence to quality standards, and meeting production targets. The position is full-time and offers competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities
- Process Quality Checking:
- Documents Handling and Record Keeping:
- Test Equipment Handling:
- Take responsibility for sustaining company certifications such as IFS, BRC, ISO 22000, Organic, Fairtrade Kosher, Halal.
- Implement and maintain processes to meet certification requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma in Science/Food Science/Agriculture or A/L passed in the Science stream.
- 1-2 years of experience in food manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Excellent understanding and compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO & IFS requirements.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Age and Language Skills
- Age below 30
- Excellent communication skills in Sinhala (English proficiency is advantageous).
