Internship Trainee
Internal Audit Department
The Job Role
- Assist the senior staff of the Internal Audit Department by downloading information relevant to audits from the computer system.
- Analyze data/information and furnish key observations to senior staff to compile internal audit reports.
- Scrutinize payment vouchers and supporting documents to ensure their completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Accompany senior staff of the Department when they undertake audits at Branches and Departments, as per the approved audit plan.
- Study previous internal audit reports and highlight any audit issues which have not been fully resolved.
- Assist senior staff to identify whether internal controls requirements stipulated in various internal procedural guidelines are adhered to by Branches and Departments.
- Interact and engage with different stakeholders during the audit process.
We are Expecting
- Undergraduates in the fields of Finance/Management/Accounting or similar disciplines in the university or registered students of the ICASL/ACCA/CIMA, with very good results at GCE (A/L).
A competitive allowance in par with the industrial standards will be paid. The best fits will be absorbed into the permanent cadre upon the completion of Internship period.
