Senior Garment Technologist
- Location: Head Office - Colombo 4
"We are on the lookout for dynamic and creative individuals to join our team as Senior Garment Technologist."
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare operation breakdowns and machinery requirements to support the sample development process and initial costing process.
- Set quality standards for individual operations to ensure bulk production complies with customer requirements.
- Conduct pre-production meetings on bulk styles to ensure correct interpretation of quality standards prior to bulk production.
- Communicate with customers to clarify issues related to the fit process.
- Provide technical support to Design, Pre Production, Merchant / Industrial Engineering Production teams during product development.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree or Diploma in Textile or equivalent qualification.
- 4-5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Excellent knowledge in communication coupled with very good negotiation skills.
- Experience in handling UK/European customers will be a definite advantage.
