ASSISTANT MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve gross profit targets on set timelines
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, prospects, and networking efforts
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivables as per company guidelines
  • New account acquisitions i.e., both local and international
  • Negotiate & coordinate with all stakeholders ensuring smooth operations

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Diploma/Degree related to Transport/ Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • 5+ years' experience in freight forwarding/ logistics industry with expertise in business development/sales
  • Good presentation skills, communication skills in both Sinhala and English
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations, freight industry, products, and services
  • Proficiency in MS Applications
