ASSISTANT MANAGER BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve gross profit targets on set timelines
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, prospects, and networking efforts
- Monitor and collect accounts receivables as per company guidelines
- New account acquisitions i.e., both local and international
- Negotiate & coordinate with all stakeholders ensuring smooth operations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Diploma/Degree related to Transport/ Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- 5+ years' experience in freight forwarding/ logistics industry with expertise in business development/sales
- Good presentation skills, communication skills in both Sinhala and English
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, freight industry, products, and services
- Proficiency in MS Applications
