Your prime function will be
- Quality Engineer
Work together with the Quality Manager and provide the fullest co-operation in day to day activities on quality assurance in the organization.
Qualifications needed for the role
- Bachelor's degree/Higher National Diploma in engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical)
- Good command in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills with Technical Writing and Presenting Skills
- Knowledge about electronic parts (if the basic education is on Mechanical)
- Knowledge about Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and experience in Lean Six Sigma
- Attention to details and strong analytical skills to make decisions on facts and figures
- Team player with good time management and leadership skills
- Product management and QA process management
You will be responsible for
- Assuring quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, IPC / ISO 9000 / ISO14000 / ISO 45000
- Managing customer complaints and perform root cause analysis by using standard methods such as Ishikawa / 5Why
- Completing 8D reports based on the root cause analysis and conducting follow-up audits
- Achieving financial objectives in the OGQC / First Print Confirmation teams by planning and scheduling the daily work and overtime based on the budget provided by the organization
- Implementing best practices in the quality department related activities and guiding the quality team on the manufacturing floor
- Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and liaising with the Quality Manager
