Legal and Compliance Officer
- Candidate Criteria:
- Be an Attorney at Law, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Law with a Notary License.
- Minimum of 8 years post qualified experience of which 5 years are in the Corporate Sector.
- Ability to review and draft commercial contracts.
- Possess an excellent command of English & Sinhala along with excellent Business writing skills.
- Possess the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Appear at courts/relevant authorities and at any legal forum on behalf of the company.
- Oversee the company's compliance with laws and regulations.
- Monitor and ensure that all departments follow the required policies and procedures.
- Self-driven, able to meet deadlines and willing to go the extra mile.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
