Ali Brothers (Pvt) Ltd is involved in refining of crude palm and coconut oils for domestic consumption. We are one of Sri Lanka's major collectors and suppliers of bulk edible oils to the food manufacturing, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries.
Post of Chemist
Responsibilities
- Most important skills are HPLC and GC
- Oversee GMP compliant laboratory testing operations
- Compliance to all Analytical Laboratory and all relevant site-wide procedures and practices
- Provide testing evaluation of raw materials, bulk, and filled samples based on specifications and standards
- Develop test procedures and methods to support developmental and operational testing
- Designing and conducting bench-scale and pilot-scale laboratory experiments, including development of test protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Lead technical/process chemistry support and improvement initiatives in all chemical process plants
- Interface with cross-functional disciplines/resources
- Creation and/or Approval Item Masters for data collection in Quality Data System Communicate to the appropriate organizations and suppliers the status of raw, finished, processed ingredient, and microbiological analyses.
Qualifications and Experience
- Have a relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Collage Degree in Chemistry, Science, Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Education, Biochemistry.
- At least two years Industry experience is required and retired persons may also be considered. Attractive Salary package awaits the right candidate
