About the role
This role supports Australia led global eyewear retail and health care service provider Oscar Wylee. This role will focus on accounting, financial reporting, and taxation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The core responsibilities include:
- Delivering financial accounting and reporting.
- Monitoring and reviewing statutory GST (VAT) and tax lodgements.
- Overseeing the preparation of month-end management accounts and board reporting packs.
- Preparing year-end financial statements and tax returns.
- Preparing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Assisting with any ad-hoc requests from management.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Minimum of three to four years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Full member of a recognized accountancy institute such as ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Prior experience with Australian companies is preferable but not necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and investigative nature.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should possess a strong command of English.
