Credit Controller
Browns HOTELS & RESORTS
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Credit Controller to join our finance team. As a Credit Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our credit control processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update credit processes and policies regularly to align with market developments, ensuring timely payments and high client retention rates.
- Handle inquiries, disputes, and reconciliation for Local Travel Agents and Foreign Tour Operators Accounts, while adhering to approved credit limits and periods.
- Assist hotel receivable teams with issuing accurate bills, processing credit card inquiries and chargebacks, and resolving operational concerns.
REQUIREMENTS
- Support external and internal audit processes, collaborating with auditors to meet reporting deadlines.
- Conduct daily reviews of the credit policy execution, reporting any inconsistencies to management, and ensuring compliance with SOP during check-in/check-out processes.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of local agents' credit applications and maintain a registry of approved credit agents with supporting documents.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or similar role.
Strong understanding of credit control procedures and practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
