Location: Head Office - Colombo 4
Senior Patten Makers/ Pattern Makers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand customer specifications and create/ develop patterns according to requirements.
- Thoroughly understand customer technical design packs.
- Closely work with Development/ Bulk - Merchandisers & Garment Techs and factory sample room teams to develop technically correct and production viable patterns.
- Ability to do risk assessments to technical tech packs to understand potential issues and manage corrective actions.
- Achieve the Factory Planning T&A, Bulk style T&A & Developments style T&A correctly.
- Maintain the pattern library & document library in each stage correctly.
- Update and maintain Tuka system pattern & upload the system request management reports.
- Knowledge in both knit and women fabric preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree/Diploma in Textile/Apparel or Pattern Making.
- Experience in TUKA system is prerequisite.
- Knowledge in both knit and woven fabric preferred.
- Experience in handling UK/European customers will be a definite advantage. Experience in washing and dying products a definite advantage.
- 3-5 years of experience in similar capacity.
Marker Makers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make markers for costing & inform to fabric consumption to Merchandiser (Obtain fabric width, previous ratios, fabric conditions & fabric cutting way). Analyzing stage should be prepared the cut plan, bulk & ratio separately.
- Make a Bulk at plan based on the delivery ratio pack, bulk pack based on fabric inhouse quantities analyzing the merchandising given fabric pre reconciliation report.
- Make a marker for bulk sign off, size set, pilot, bulk, special customer requirements for all factories.
- Review the fabric inspection report and decide the marker type which should be released on each factory (Fabric ways, check matching, stripe matching, minor shading, major shading, different widths).
- Analyze the fabric waste based on fabric tech approval.
- Should liaise with tech team & fabric team to analyze the marker methods when there's a difference between received fabric originally booked fabrics.
