Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Mineral Trading Specialist to join our vibrant team. This role demands a high level of independence and initiative, with a unique opportunity to blend international business acumen with the rich cultural experience of learning Lao. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal part of our import-export operations, collaborating with logistic companies, and crafting compelling proposals in English. Your interpersonal skills will navigate the complexities of global trade, ensuring smooth and efficient business transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct mineral trading operations with a strategic approach to buying and selling.
- Manage and execute import-export documentation and procedures.
- Liaise with logistic companies to ensure timely delivery of minerals.
- Prepare and present business proposals in English, detailing trade agreements and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with international partners and clients.
- Continuously learn and adapt to the Lao language and culture to enhance business operations in the region.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to drive business strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven international business experience, especially in import-export operations.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and drive.
- Willingness to take on the challenge of learning Lao.
- Exceptional writing skills in English, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive proposals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Experience in the mining industry will be considered an advantage.
- Fluency in Chinese is highly desirable and will be considered a significant plus.
