We are looking for a young, energetic individual to join our team in Head Office.
Import Executive
Job Profile
- The candidate chosen for this role will play a critical part in coordinating the clearance of air and sea shipments efficiently.
- They will collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, clearing agents, banks, and government bodies like Sri Lanka Customs, BOI, and Import control department to ensure a smooth and timely clearance process.
- Upholding strict compliance with company policies, national standards, and ethical guidelines is crucial.
- Moreover, they will work closely with shipping and clearing agents to secure competitive rates beneficial for the company.
- It appears to be a challenging yet rewarding opportunity.
Qualification and Experience
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
