EXECUTIVE - QUALITY ASSURANCE
MA's Kitchen is a leader in Sri Lanka's food processing sector. We strive to be an irreplaceable part of every kitchen and are the leading supplier of high-end family meal solutions. We seek a talented, self-motivated person to join our Quality Assurance Department at the coconut milk production facility in Minuwangoda.
- Duties:
- Implementation and management of certifications, policies, and processes within the company.
- Monitoring compliance to certifications and policies with a robust internal audit program.
- Reviewing, updating, and managing relevant documentation.
- Supervise implementation and upgrading certification standards including FSSC 22000, BRC, GMP, HACCP, and 5S.
- Support and updating of other quality assurance programs.
- Manage compliance with OHSAS and ISO 14000 standards (Health and safety and trade standards).
- Auditing and vetting suppliers to required standards.
- Proactively working on closing compliance gaps.
- Regular reporting on issues and compliance levels.
- Personnel requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in Quality Assurance and or certification.
- Persons with coconut industry experience, especially coconut milk related experience will be considered.
- Experience and knowledge of dealing with certification, audits, and documentation relevant to food processing plants.
- Hands-on experience implementing and monitoring relevant and related standards, ideally including FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, BRC, OHSAS, ISO 14000, Organic certification & Kosher Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with a large team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Professional qualifications in Food Science, Process Management, or relevant related field.
