Asst. Manager Operations

  • Oversee all company operations ensuring service levels are adhered to by all team members in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide logistical solutions to all project-based services such as short-term transportation services for events and corporate entities.
  • Customer Service: Work with the team to ensure that one continuously exceeds customer expectations at all times. Collaborate directly with the call centre team to establish business opportunities with new or existing customers.
  • Must ensure that an aggressive sales strategy is adopted to achieve sales and revenue. Establishing sales targets, training on products, services, sales performance, follow up on sales opportunities and converting them. Introduce a recognition and rewards programme based on targets and achievements.
  • Staff training and development: Train, mentor and develop skills with team members. Set KPIs for the team in line with the business objectives, review them periodically and performance manage them to deliver outstanding results.
  • Demonstrate business practices that are in line with company standards; Handle complaints escalated from both internal and external customers and provide solutions; and Communicate on operational areas supporting all promotional activates targeted to improve inbound sales.
  • Present critical data relevant to operations, sales opportunities and performance to the Managing Director on a regular basis.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in the Car Rental or Tourism Industry is preferred, but we will train motivated candidates with relevant experience.
  • Good managerial, communication, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing & speaking)
  • Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus point.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude and professional appearance.

Operations Executive

  • Reservation: Should handle requests from guests, companies and travel agents via phone or other platforms. He/ She makes sure booking information is input correctly into the system.
  • Vehicle Allocation: Allocate vehicles to customers based on their requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate with the transfer team and customers to fulfil requirements and ensure vehicle occupancy in a day.
  • Fleet Management: Collaborate with the fleet team to ensure optimal utilization of vehicles. Coordinate with the fleet team to ensure the vehicles are in good working condition. Communicate with the team regarding vehicle availability and any operational challenges.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests related to vehicle allocation and tracking. Assist customers in understanding the process, vehicle features, and any other relevant information.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of vehicle assignments, returns, and availability.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales/customer service/operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus point.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in written & oral communication in English.
  • Valid Sri Lanka driving license.
