Job Description
We are one of the leading BOI approved Hong Kong based apparel manufacturing company situated in the Katunayake Export Processing Zone with over 25 years of service catering to leading international brands and a workforce over 800 employees. As we are expanding our operations we are on the lookout for the following position.
ASISSTANT MERCHANDISER / MERCHANDISER
Responsibilities
- Execute the Product Development process including assisting & handling customers to the development team, processing sample requests, and obtaining customer feedback and sample approvals.
- Coordinate with fabric and Trim suppliers to ensure all Raw Materials are received for Samples and Bulk production.
- Make E-mail inquiries with suppliers and confirm delivery dates and prices where applicable. To conduct all aspects of sampling and testing according to the company SOPs and coordinate with other departments.
- Complete execution of bulk production process including raising bulk supplier POs, creating factory order sheets, arranging PP meetings, and follow-up on bulk production.
- Provide weekly dispatch schedules and timely follow-ups with the shipping department.
Education and experience
- Diploma/Certificate in Marketing or relevant professional qualification.
- 03 - 05 years of working experience in a similar capacity and experience with Woven Garments.
- Age between 22 to 35.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and knowledge of English and Hands-on experience in the Microsoft Office packages.
- Detail-oriented and dynamic individual with Good analytical skills with multitasking capability.
