ASSISTANT MANAGER-RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (MALE)

Role
Be below 40 years of age
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Science (including Chemistry) / Polymer Science or relevant professional qualification from a recognized university/institute
Minimum 4 - 5 years' experience in similar capacity
Experience in Paints/ Coating products manufacturing industry would be an added advantage
Knowledge and experience in ISO & other related quality certifications
Ability to communicate fluency in Sinhala and English
Ability to work long hours
Be a team player who is willing to travel
Develop the formulas of water-based paints, wood coatings & dry mix coating products
Manage the process & products quality to ensure that products meet required specifications prior to delivery
Identify & set appropriate quality standards & parameters for products
Communicate quality standards & parameters to QA team & productions team
Work closely with sales & marketing team to develop the coating products to meet the customers'/market requirements
Maintain compliance with local, International & organizational laws, regulations, guidelines and policies
Source alternative raw materials to reduce the cost of products

EXECUTIVE - RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (MALE)

Be below 40 years of age
Possess a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Chemistry
Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in similar capacity
Experience in Paints/Coating products or Polymer related industry would be an added advantage Fresh Graduates are also welcome
Excellent analytical and research skills
Be a team player who is willing to travel
