A member of David Pieris Group, the company is on the lookout for a dynamic result oriented individual who can grow institutional and corporate sales, events etc. for this one-of-a-kind venue and the racing track at SpeedBay@ Port City Colombo.
SALES EXECUTIVE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Head of Department in conducting market research, identify potential clientele, develop and execute sales plans.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with all clients and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Attend sales conferences, exhibitions and related events; promote the water park among government institutions, corporate clients including tour and travel agents, education institutes and hotels.
- Ensure that comprehensive and accurate records related to sales and achievements are maintained and presented to management on request.
REQUIREMENTS
- A Degree preferably in Sales/Marketing or a part/full professional qualification from a recognized institution such as CIM (UK)/SLIM.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Sales & Marketing field preferably in the Hospitality/Leisure Industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel / MS Power point coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Ability to analyse and resolve problems, exercising good judgment and make independent timely decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with company policies and rules.
