A member of the David Pieris Group, David Pieris Racing & Leisure (Private) Limited (DPRL) is the holding company of its leisure cluster which includes Pearl Bay Bandaragama, a unique leisure offering that brings together Sri Lanka's first water park, built and certified to European Health and Safety Standards and a FIA/CIK certified leisure and professional karting track, Speedbay at Port City Colombo and Hill Cottage Nuwara Eliya.
GUEST SERVICES AGENT
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals in delivering an exceptional guest service to all the guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a positive guest experience and ticket services in a friendly yet professional manner; share information related to facilities, entertainment options and promotional offers whilst up-selling and cross-selling products & services.
- Overlook and maintain a cash float and conduct cashiering duties for guests in accordance with the policies of the company.
- Practice an open line of communication whilst coordinating with related departments to ensure guest requests and complaints are fulfilled in a satisfactory manner.
- Assist the guests with general enquiries including lost and found function, the park and its facilities and daily events and functions.
- Maintain a high standard of guest service; create a safe and secure environment complying with health and safety procedures and guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Successful completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level examination.
- A Diploma / Professional qualification from a recognized institution with experience in the related field and hands-on experience with online ticket booking system; experience in PMS or any other guest reservation system would be an added advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala with good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to resolve problems and gain guest loyalty by exercising good judgment and independent decision making while adhering to ethical standards aligned to company policies and regulations.
