David Pieris City Developments (Private) Limited, a member of David Pieris Group, is the managing company of the karting track operated at Port City Colombo and a subsidiary of David Pieris Racing and Leisure (Private) Limited which operates Sri Lanka's first internationally certified karting track and leisure complex based in Bandaragama.
GUEST SERVICE AGENT
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience and expertise in delivering exceptional guest service and acting as a brand ambassador for our karting operations at Port City Colombo.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash/credit transactions of customers.
- Handle all customer relation functions, including customer queries, requests, complaints in a prompt and effective manner.
- Provide information about the track, different types of go-karts/packages and upcoming racing events to customers.
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing and Events teams to execute their promotional strategies and events, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including preparation of payment vouchers, purchase orders, day-end revenue reports, maintenance of agreements and inventories, etc. as per the Company policies and procedures.
- Oversee all service providers and facility maintenance work at the track and keep the immediate supervisor fully informed of all problems and/or issues.
- Use effective selling skills to upsell and promote events and footfall to the facility.
Requirements
A Diploma/professional qualification from a recognised institution with 2-3 years of experience in a related field.
Sound knowledge in handling large groups and VIP guests and customer enquiries. Minimum of 2 years' work experience in a similar field or as a customer service representative. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Ability to resolve problems and gain guest loyalty by exercising good judgment and independent decision making while adhering to ethical standards aligned with company policies and regulations.
