Animal SOS Sri Lanka is a UK registered Charity and BOI non-profit company in Sri Lanka. We are looking for a qualified person to be responsible for the maintenance, operations and supervision of infrastructure development at our animal sanctuary in Midigama, Ahangama.
Job Description:
- Oversee maintenance operations at the sanctuary
- Ensure equipment and systems are functioning optimally
- Organize servicing/cleaning/emptying septic tanks/drainage cleaning
- Manage and supervise all infrastructure development/building projects at the sanctuary
- Oversee the operations of various systems and plants- Biogas, RO plant, Water Treatment plant, incinerator
- Supervise staff and external contractors
- Schedule maintenance, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations
- Manage procurement of maintenance supplies
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- Minimum NVQ level 4 or similar Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in maintenance management
- Strong technical knowledge
- Good proficiency in English
- Must love dogs as we have a free roaming dog sanctuary
- Age 35 years or above, retired person with necessary qualifications and experience will be considered
