Bakery Chain with 13 Outlets in Colombo serving over 10,000 customers daily since 1983.

Production Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee operations of all production departments (Hot Kitchen, Bakery, Pastry, Short Eats)
  • Ensure quality and taste is consistently maintained across all food products
  • New product development
  • Oversee recruitment, training & performance appraisals of team members.
  • Work closely with supervisors, department heads and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • Foster a positive working environment, promoting teamwork and strong communication across all outlets and departments.
  • Manage inventory across all outlets, ensuring timely procurement of supplies and minimizing waste. Responsible for managing food cost.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years experience in production role in an F&B company
  • Age 40-50 Years.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Graduate of SLITHM, or related qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage, lead, and motivate a large team.
  • Knowledge & practice of HACCP, GMP and ISO 22000
