Purchasing Officer
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join our team. The Purchasing Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of goods and services essential for our hotel operations.
Responsibilities:
- Source and procure high-quality goods and services required for hotel operations, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to fulfill procurement needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices to optimize procurement strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven 2 years experience in a purchasing role, within the hospitality industry.
- Education O/A & A/L or Procurement related Diploma or certificate course.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and purchasing software.
- Age requirement between 30 - 50 years
