URGENT VACANCIES
We are CIDA EM1 registered ISO certified company partnering with leading global brands for an exclusive range of Electrical, Lighting, ELV, Fire Life Safety and HVAC systems. In addition, involve in all types of infrastructure developments and MEP supply, installation of turnkey projects. We are seeking to fill-up the following position immediately to main office.
POSITION: SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
- Liaise with External Auditors and Finalize the external Annual Year Audit on time
- Execute precise processing of month end entries pertaining to all financials transactions Process recurring entries such as accruals, depreciation Etc. and ensure consistency and accuracy
- Review and reconcile recurring entries to financial statements monthly and quarterly basis.
- Assist in month end and year-end closing activities related to provisions recurring entries. Prepare supporting schedules and associated documents for external audits.
- Work closely with the dept of inland revenue department of Sri Lanka on all Tax-related matters of the organization. Coordinate with external parties for day today finance and taxation related matters/issues.
- Submit the Management Accounts on time and have management discussions on time Support the Management by ensuring providing accurate details for financial and procurement process are followed.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned related said specific employment category
- Assisting for budgeting, Cash Flow Statements/forecasting and management of cash flow Adhere to internal controls and procedures/ Dealing with stakeholders (such as Suppliers, Customers, Bank Etc.)
- Reconciliation of detailed accounts
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :-
- University Degree in Accounting or Finance or Part Qualification of professional accounting body such as - ICAL (SL)/AAT (SL) or CIMA/ACCA/(UK)
- Minimum of Four to Five (4/5) Years of Working Experience with the said same capacity and
- Preferred if said Experience is inclusive of 1 or 2 Years in the field of Constructing Trading/Service
- Experience in Finance, Costing, Accounting, Budgeting and Government related Current Existing Taxation System and Regulation/ Implementation Etc.
- Effective Communication, interpersonal skills and Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in English (Speaking, Reading and Writing), data analyzing, presentation and statistical tools
- Capability to work under pressure and Manage time efficiently and effectively.
- Mandatory to be proficiency in minimum 2 years of Working Experience in Accounting Software Packages -Especially TALLY (Compulsory) and SAGE(Optional)
- Age Category is below 35 years old.
