Job Summary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience in Product Development.
  • Proven experience in process management and optimization.
  • Good Understanding on Product compatibility.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Good Understanding on Pattern Digitalisation.
  • Attention to Detail and Quality Orientation.
  • Technical Proficiency in Garment Construction.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, coupled with strong English language capabilities.
  • A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and deliver results under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for allocating staff resources within the sample room section, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower.
  • Oversee the availability of fabrics, threads, and trimmings required for sample garment production, ensuring timely procurement to support production schedules
  • Develop daily sample production plans, setting clear targets for sample operators to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records of pattern sets, buyer, supplier, and manufacturer directories, facilitating efficient sample development and production processes.
  • Monitor and manage the sample room team to ensure that all samples are made to customer specifications and meet quality standards. Evaluate and approve samples throughout the development, fitting, adjustment, and approval process.
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings to track weekly progress with sample merchandisers, customers, and relevant stakeholders. Ensure timely issuance of patterns to production in accordance with PDC and bulk cut dates.
