Manager - Internal Audit
We are looking for young, dynamic, energetic and self-motivated team player who is willing

Key Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Determine the internal audit scope, develop annual Internal Audit plan in consultation with the Audit Committee and execute the audit plan
- Perform specialized investigative audits as and when required
- Perform the full audit cycle to improve operations' effectiveness of key organizational processes and improve financial reliability in compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
- Evaluate the efficacy of risk and compliance functions and provide recommendations to improve internal controls and governance processes up to the industry standards
- Periodically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the controls system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organization
- Assist with the overall supervision of internal audit staff, including assisting with staff professional development, training, and evaluation
- Coordinate audit activities with external auditors
- Perform any other related duties, as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance and Accounting and/or equivalent qualification from a recognized professional institute (ICASL/CIMA/ACCA/CMA)
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience in internal auditing preferably in insurance and/or financial services industry
- Expertise in Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with strict deadlines
Location: Colombo (Head Office)
