Factory Accountant
Brandix Apparel Solutions (Private) Limited - Rathmalane Finishing
SCOPE
The Factory Accountant is responsible for controlling factory overheads and maintaining factory profitability. The role holder should ensure that the appropriate control framework is in place to safeguard the assets and provide value-added information/analysis to the management for better decision-making. Furthermore, the job holder is responsible for executing the vested duties and responsibilities in relation to the health and safety guidelines, instructions, and protocols of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing budgets, controlling overheads, and analyzing variances.
- Driving the factory P&L while minimizing margin erosion.
- Ensuring adherence to group policies and procedures and the appropriate control framework to safeguard assets.
- Providing information to the management in a timely and accurate manner, as per the stipulated guidelines.
- Creating value by offering information/analysis to assist in driving the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or a professional qualification in ICASL/CIMA/ACCA.
- Relevant industry experience of 1-2 years is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English, attention to detail, teamwork, and a structured and disciplined work approach.
- Ability to deliver results on time.
- Ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude and develop effective interpersonal relationships with cross-functional teams.
