Job Profile:

  • Executive Chef

Hire, Supervise, Train, develop, and motivate culinary staff to meet and exceed established food preparation standards on a consistent basis according to the Radisson brand standards.

Should be able to provide directions for all day-to-day operations in the Kitchen.

  • Actively involve in menu development & maintaining updated and accurate item costing/pricing of all dishes prepared & sold in the food & beverage operation.

  • Determine how food should be presented and create decorative food displays related to the brand standards. Purchase food and supplies from vendors approved by the company and monitor inventory closely.

  • Recognize super quality products, presentations, and flavor.

  • Stay current on restaurant industry trends. Identify new culinary techniques and presentations.

  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. Ensure that the kitchen and surrounding areas are sanitized and clean in accordance with company standards and health code regulations.

  • Display exceptional leadership by providing a positive work environment. Assist kitchen staff with food prep and recipe creation.

  • Provide & supportive service behaviors that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of traditional and progressive Indian cuisine.

Candidate Profile:

  • Five years of experience in a similar capacity in a star class hotel.

  • Qualification in hospitality/hotel management is essential.

  • Possess a professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong administration skills with computer literacy & Ideal training and coaching skills.

  • Ability to manage extreme situations and work under minimum supervision.
