Post of Internal Audit Officer
With over 100 years of providing the best facilities to Sri Lankans, the Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) is Sri Lanka's premier Cricket Club with a firm commitment to empowering sports. The SSC is now on the lookout for an energetic individual to join our team of top performers as an Internal Audit Officer. The following are the requirements for the above-mentioned position.
- Should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in auditing, accounting, financial analysis, information systems, or related fields.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A team player with a positive attitude and good interpersonal skills. Ability to take the initiative and work independently.
- Ability to work with different stakeholders across the organization. Good analytical skills.
- Diploma in credit management will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting operational, Financial, and compliance audits.
- Perform audit verifications for all revenue-generated areas in the club, inform concerned parties of any improvements or irregularities, and make suggestions to overcome them.
- Support the business unit to implement a practical risk management framework.
- Ensure internal controls within all systems used by the company.
- Analysis of audit results to determine methods for controls and minimizing unnecessary costs. Make recommendations to the management to avoid fraud and reduce waste.
- Assesses best financial practices for an organization and makes relevant, informed suggestions. Conduct investigations when required.
Qualifications:
- Associate/Member of CA Sri Lanka or A bachelor's degree in accounting/business/ finance or similar professional qualifications
- Highly Proficient in MS Office.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing and performing internal audit activities. Experience in Inventory Management, Retail Audits, F&B Audits
