GROUP ACCOUNTANT - ARAVA (PRIVATE) LIMITED
ARAVA (Pvt) Ltd., is a leading Exporting and a Manufacturing company in Sri Lanka involved in Exporting of growing media solutions to global destinations under international certifications.
We are looking for a Group Accountant with strong analytical skills to manage the finance department and provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans in addition to daily finance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to management while recommending further courses of action.
- Advising on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take Maintaining the financial safety and stability of the company.
- Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders including the bank in maintaining company accounts.
- Monitor and maintain daily financial accounts between head office and the factories.
- Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
- Completion of annual audit function and all statutory requirements.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Chartered Account or ACCA qualified (Full or part) or a similar qualified degree holder from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years' proven experience in accounting & finance.
- Proficient use of finance software (ERP) systems.
- Working knowledge on all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Experience in factory management or export trade would be an added qualification.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Age should above 45 years.
