About Us
Puttalam Ilmenite Limited (PIL) is developing the first industrial scale mineral sands processing facility in Sri Lanka. PIL has local partners including Dilmah, Access Group & Hayleys, and leading international technical partners. It envisages the largest FDI ever into the mineral sector, 400 jobs and annual export revenue of $100m. All of this is done applying the highest sustainability development principles. As we move into construction, we are looking to ramp up our team and hence looking for an experienced Accounting and Finance professional.
Accounting & Finance Manager
Job Role
- Manage the finance team and be responsible accounting functions.
- Ensure the day to day bookkeeping and accounting functions are done accurately.
- Manage annual audits, IRD lodgments and liaise with external tax consultants.
- Play a key role in financial planning, banking, and decision-making.
Requirements
- Over 10 years' work experience.
- CA Member or ACCA Member i.e. fully qualified accountant.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Female preferred for office gender balance.
