ASSISTANT LEGAL OFFICER

The Company invites applications for the post of Assistant Legal Officer from individuals preferably females who are diligent and resourceful with an impeccable work ethic, capacity to deal with pressure and the ability to function independently as well as integrate themselves into the workings of our team in contributing to the organization's continuing success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Should be an Attorney-at-law and Notary Public.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the areas of Litigation, Commercial Law, Conveyancing drafting and reviewing of agreements and experience in company secretarial related work.
  • Authority to function as a Notary in Sinhala and English, to practice in Colombo District, attending to land registry title searchers and drafting of title reports.
  • Strong advocacy, analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills with computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in both English and Sinhala languages to effectively communicate and handle legal matters in bilingual settings.
  • Willingness to work beyond normal working hours as and when required.
  • Preference would be given to applicants residing in close proximity to Colombo.
