Job Description

EXECUTIVE - ENGINEERING STORES

  • Monitor consumptions and generate purchase requisitions
  • Issue & receive items as per purchase order while ensuring quality and matching specifications
  • Coordinate with Procurement Department to meet delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with engineers whilst ordering exceptional items to ensure stocks availability

Monitoring 5S in engineering stores

  • Ensure systematic method is used for storing of goods
  • Ensure received products comply with quality standards
  • Maintain incoming and issuing materials with minimum stock variance

Conduct supplier audits regularly

  • Check if suppliers are adhering to contract terms
  • Monitor stock availability to ensure supplier compliance

Approve requisition/purchase order raised & inform accounts department about pending issues

  • Track payments, monitor variances & provide feedback
  • Address internal & external queries to ensure healthy accounting practices

Responsible for maintain applicable ISO requirements related to QMS, FSMS, EMS & OHSMS

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • BSc in Materials Management or equivalent from a recognized Institute / University with 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Engineering stores handling experience will be an added advantage
  • Broad understanding of inventory control in an FMCG business

The selected candidate will be based at the Avissawella Factory

Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy
