DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - PLANNING & OPERATIONS (KINETIX)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and execute robust production plans to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization. Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth alignment of production schedules, fostering a harmonized workflow.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Establish and enforce stringent quality standards and procedures throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring that products consistently meet or surpass customer expectations. Collaborate closely with quality control teams to identify areas for improvement and maintain product excellence.
  • Operational Efficiency: Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational streamlining within manufacturing and distribution channels. Analyze production data meticulously to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximizing efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster seamless collaboration among diverse teams including design, marketing, sales, and finance to ensure that production plans are aligned with overarching business objectives. Effective communication and coordination are paramount to achieving operational synergy.
  • Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations, meticulously monitoring expenses to ensure adherence to financial constraints. Strategic allocation of resources is key to sustaining operational excellence.
  • People Management: Lead and inspire a multicultural workforce, cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold compliance with relevant labor laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards across all manufacturing sites. Stay abreast of industry regulations and best practices to minimize legal and compliance risks.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute valuable insights and recommendations to the development of the company's strategic plans, leveraging operational expertise to identify growth opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
  • Crisis Management: Develop and implement robust contingency plans to effectively navigate unforeseen challenges that may impact production and operations, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, offering actionable insights derived from key performance indicators and operational analytics. Transparent communication is essential for driving informed decision-making.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • More than 8 years of experience in strategic planning, production scheduling, and operations management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
