JK Garments (Private) Limited - Seeduwa, a BOI approved modern embellishment and apparel manufacturing plant with over 650 employees, with an industry experience of more than 18 years, catering to global activewear and sportswear brands. We are looking for a dynamic, accomplished and energetic individual to join the marketing and business development team as an assistant manager - merchandising.
MANAGER - QAULITY ASSUARANCE & TECHNICA SEEDUWA
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure quality assurance and technical processes are meeting the customer expectation, technical standards, internal quality procedure of the sublimation and cut & sewing plants.
- Participating PP meeting, grab & share the critical technical and quality concerns to the teams.
- Monitor and guide entire quality process and adopt the best quality and technical practices from fabric & trims in housing to delivering quality garments to the customer.
- Participating technical and process audits, maintain product safety discipline in the production floor, prepare CAP reports, get corrective actions immediately.
- Manage and guide the team towards the KPI driven culture while maintaining department KPI with company goals.
Ideal candidate should possess,
- Degree or an educational qualification in quality management / textile management / process management with minimum 5 years professional experience in apparel quality or technical field.
- Sound knowledge in fabrics, trims, embellishments and average knowledge of sublimation process is distinct advantage.
- Candidates with previous exposure to sportswear and activewear will be an added benefit.
- Hand of experience of production process with short lead time would be a key point.
- Ability to be self-motivated, able to work with tight deadlines and work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Age below 45 years.
