Account Assistant

Job Profile

  • Prepare and update all payments in the accounting system and filing vouchers as per procedures.
  • Each month prepare and maintain monthly payment schedule for payable invoices along with statutory payments.
  • Maintaining accounts and petty cash payments.
  • Update all receipts to the accounting system and reconcile with bank statements.
  • Filing and maintenance of all banking statements and other files relevant to the accounts department.
  • Assisting with monthly payroll process. Account and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Coordinate with all branches and maintain banking and cheque registers.
  • Follow up the returned cheques and inform the Head of department for recovery procedures.
  • Other duties related to finance department will be given from time to time.

Candidate Profile

  • Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Should demonstrate strong computer skills such as MS office application and application software such as QuickBooks.
  • Minimum 2 years work experience.
  • Adhering company procedures & policies, this role is reporting directly to the Head of Finance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and long working hours when required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and good team player.
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience.
