JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will hold a key role in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and the development of statutory reports, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards. You will be responsible for crafting detailed financial analysis that inform and guide strategic decisions by management. Your expertise in excel and financial modelling, coupled with a meticulous approach to accuracy and a robust analytical skill set, will be fundamental in maintaining the integrity and precision of our financial reporting framework.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare monthly, bi-annual and annual financial statements, together with management reporting packs while ensuring precision and adherence to all reporting timelines
- Contributing to the statutory reporting process, including the preparation of reports and schedules in compliance with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
- Actively take part in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting processes with detailed financial data analysis
- Perform comprehensive financial data analysis to identify trends, variances, and actionable opportunities
- Develop and refine advanced financial models that underpin strategic business decisions
- Employ advanced Excel formulas and functions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of data analysis and reporting workflows
- Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to secure the necessary information for robust financial forecasting
- Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the finance department

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and Professional Qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA/ CIMA)
- A minimum of 5 years related experience in Financial and Statutory Reporting with proficiency in excel modelling
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial data analysis)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A very good command of communication and interpersonal skills
