SENIOR MANAGER - LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE

JOB PROFILE

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all group companies operate in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • The role encompasses providing counsel on legal matters, representing the company in court proceedings, and advising on corporate policies.
  • Key duties include offering proactive assistance on legal inquiries, monitoring pertinent laws and regulations, collaborating with external legal advisors, drafting, and reviewing contracts, conducting negotiations with external parties, and delivering legal support for various projects.
  • Furthermore, S/he is responsible for maintaining legal documentation, aiding internal management in producing legal reports, and fulfilling additional assigned responsibilities.

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Attorney at Law and Notary Public (holding a Degree in Law or other relevant professional qualification would be considered advantageous)
  • Minimum of 06 years post-qualification experience in commercial organizations
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in corporate, commercial and civil law
  • Litigation experience would be considered advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept negotiation abilities, and sound legal judgment to support business needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team and a strong focus on client service, fostering positive working relationships
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Self-starter with an independent work orientation and the ability to multitask effectively
